Dr. Laura Hanson
Dr. Hanson has practiced since 1996 in the area of pediatric development and brain-based patient management. Dr. Hanson is recognized as a world expert in teaching and caring for children with developmental delay. Her goal is to educate communities on the effects of stress. Stress is a real physiological event. Stress changes the developing brain. Stress interferes with conceiving a baby. Stress causes children and parents to have meltdowns. Chronic stress causes chronic ill health.
Connect My Brain is a program that serves all populations. Dr. Hanson recognizes that in order to change the chronic patterns of dis-ease, altered development, and stress that affect a person’s thought and drive; we must change how the brain perceives its environment. The number one way to change the brain is through Bio and Neuro Feedback. Once the brain pattern is chronic, this is who your brain “thinks” you are.
Connect My Brain offers state of the art brain training therapies. Brain training is a non-invasive therapy that allows children and adults to reconnect with their brain. Neuro and Bio-Feedback is training for many areas of health concerns, such as AD(H)D, Aggression, Anxiety, Developmental Delay, Mental Sluggishness, OCD, ODD, PDD, and many others.
Neurofeedback is an area of special interest for Dr. Hanson. Dr. Laura Hanson is adding to her credentials BCIA – Accredited NeuroFeedback Certification. The Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) was created in 1981 with the primary mission to certify individuals who meet education and training standards in biofeedback and progressively re-certify those who advance their knowledge through continuing education.
